Welcome
to the first edition of the 2006 Speaker’s Bureau e-newsletter,
published weekly during the campaign season.
A special thanks goes out to all those who took the time to
attend speaker trainings during August and September. We were
able update
everyone with our latest information and the roundtable interactions
provided an opportunity for a lively sharing of expertise.
You
should have recently received a packet in the mail that includes
a guide to the Speaker’s Bureau scheduling
process, a handbook for crafting an effective campaign presentation,
and tips to make your
speaking engagement more satisfying. This information is also
available in the Speakers Bureau section of our web site.
Please contact us to request a packet, if you have questions,
or should you need assistance.
Tip of the week
Are you one of those people who never look at e-mail? Hate returning
phone calls? Are you only in the office at the end of the
day? Let us know now if you have a preference for how or
when we contact you. We always confirm meetings by email,
but let us know if you need us to also follow up by fax or
phone.
Thank
you
This year we are happy to be joined by 23 new speakers and welcome back 66 familiar
faces. Many thanks to all speakers who have already made presentations this campaign
season!
