| Welcome to United Way of Central New
York's Campaign E-Newsletter |
On
Thursday, January 24, we will celebrate all that
we’ve accomplished together this year and
bestow our highest corporate and individual awards.
Join us to experience the challenge of choosing
where the community’s
“good bucks” will
go. You will be given $10 in good bucks to invest
in a variety of impact areas—from nurturing child
development to feeding the hungry. This
winter, teams of trained volunteers will actually
do this important work, carefully assessing 130 applications
from 45 agencies to decide where the community’s
dollars will be invested.
You should have received your
invitation in the mail along with additional guest
invitations so you can bring your campaign team,
friends and co-workers. Thanks to the generous
sponsorship of KS&R, we
are able to bring you this year’s event free
of charge.
The Achievement Celebration will
be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Oncenter. Complimentary
hors d’oeuvres
will be served and a cash bar will be available. Please

The Achievement Celebration will
also be the grand finale for the 2007 Step Up Challenge.
We’ll draw
winners for each of our six grand prizes (pssst… it
could be you or someone you work with!). On January 17,
three finalists will be chosen for each grand prize. ALL
STEP UP ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED TODAY TO BE ENTERED IN
THE GRAND PRIZE DRAWINGS! |

| We’ve reached the halfway point between
Kickoff and the Achievement Celebration and we’re more
than halfway to our goal. To date, the Community Campaign
has raised $7,757,174. A big
