What
is the 500 Club? This is a new recognition category for donors who give
between $500 and $999 to the annual United Way campaign.
What is the purpose of the 500 Club?
This category is designed to thank and recognize donors
who are not yet in the Hamilton White Society level of
giving, but desire to make a significant contribution
to United Way. Members of the 500 Club may be likely
to step up to the Hamilton White level in the near future.
What are the benefits of joining the 500 Club?
New 500 Club donors will receive a small gift commemorating
their donation; all 500 Club donors will be given special
mention in future United Way Leadership Giving Member
Rosters.
Are there any restrictions on joining the 500 Club?
Unlike the Hamilton White and Alexis de Tocqueville Societies,
500 Club gifts are considered to be individual, not family,
gifts. Individuals giving less than $500 may not combine
that gift with a spouse/partner’s gift for recognition
as a 500 Club member. |
