On Saturday, February 11, 2012 Success By 6 will be collecting donations of new and gently used children’s books at the Syracuse University vs. University of Connecticut men’s basketball game at the Carrier Dome. The books will be distributed to children’s programs throughout Onondaga County. Please bring a book donation to the game and put it in any of the designated boxes at the gate entrances. The Achievements in Caring Celebration will return to The Palace Theatre in 2012, complete with guest presenters! Please mark your calendars as we recognize fantastic campaign accomplishments by presenting the annual Spirit of Caring awards and “crown” the Campaign Volunteer of the Year. This year’s event will also serve as the official close of the 90th year of United Way of Central New York. As a nod to our past, the event will feature a Roaring 20s theme. Feel free to don 1920s inspired fashions! More to come…
