Technology Grants
These grants will be used to improve
delivery of client services and/or to improve overall organizational
efficiency. Applications may be for single-purchase projects,
agency-wide projects, or inter-agency collaborations.
EXAMPLES of possible uses for Capacity Building
Grants:
- Software to aid in financial management or program enhancement
- Agency-wide technology assessments
- Upgrades to agency-wide technology—hardware, software,
or connectivity
- Creation of inter-agency shared databases or tracking systems
REQUIREMENTS
- All 501(c)(3) human service agencies serving clients residing
in Onondaga County are eligible to apply.
- Grants will be awarded only for technology capacity improvements
- The Capacity Building Grant range is $1,500 – $10,000
per grant.
- Check grant application for due date.
APPLICATION
FORMS
Applicants should submit ten complete copies of all application
materials. Additional information may be requested during the
application review to facilitate United Way’s volunteer
decision-making process.
