Running a United Way campaign in your workplace is a great way to inject creativity, excitement, and positive energy into your workforce. Volunteering as an Employee Campaign Coordinator is not only challenging and satisfying, it may be a career, or even a life-changing, experience.

The Campaign Toolbox is set up every year to provide you with everything you’ll need to run a great campaign. In this section you will find information on Speakers Bureau, e-Pledge, downloadable pledge cards, brochures, posters, and even videos!

United Way of Central New York is privileged to have the charitable support of over 600 local companies and proud to be partnered with them in creating a better community. But for a limited number of companies, we can also offer the opportunity to have a sponsor relationship with us that will provide significantly greater recognition.

United Way wraps up its campaign efforts each year at the Community Achievement Celebration. This event honors all the good work our community has done throughout the year with a series of awards. The Spirit of Caring Awards, United Way's top corporate honors, are given to six deserving companies. The Campaign Volunteer of the Year award – the highest honor given to an individual United Way volunteer – goes to an ECC who has gone above and beyond the call of duty.
