United Way wraps up its campaign efforts each year at the Community Achievement Celebration. This event honors all the good work our community has done throughout the year with a series of awards. The Spirit of Caring Awards, United Way's top corporate honors, are given to six deserving companies. The Campaign Volunteer of the Year award – the highest honor given to an individual United Way volunteer – goes to an ECC who has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Learn more about the awards your company could win, and meet last year's winners.
2010 ACHIEVEMENTS IN CARING EVENT
Thank you!
The 2009 Community Campaign raised $7,864,762 – about 93 percent of our goal. We are humbled and grateful for the extra effort and generosity this year. Thank you for all that you do for this community.
Achievements in Caring
On Tuesday April 20, hundreds joined us at the Oncenter to celebrate all that we accomplished together in 2009. It was a tough year that tested many of our agencies that provide basic needs assistance – but donors saw the increased need around them and responded by pledging.
We also gave out a number of awards to companies and individuals.
