Overview Success By 6 is a community initiative that works to ensure that kids in Onondaga County are ready for success in school and life. The initiative is led by United Way of Central New York, and works in partnership with many local business, non-profits, and community members. Why is this so important?

At an average cost of $9,000 per year, per child—more than tuition at a public university—quality childcare is too expensive for most families.
