This year event was our
biggest Kickoff Cookoff ever, with more than 800 people
in attendance, 30 competing teams, and an unbelievable
amount of fantastic food. Once again we had great weather
which made it possible for everyone to savor one more summer
day—and another grilled hotdog.
At the event, Campaign Chair Kathryn
Ruscitto announced a 2008 fundraising goal of $9.1 million.
This will be a difficult goal to reach, but we know it’s attainable if we can
bring the same energy we saw at Kickoff Cookoff to
each and every company campaign.
