The United Way Kickoff Cookoff brings out this community's best chefs for a culinary showdown. This year the Central New York Regional Market will be filled with the great tastes for all to enjoy. Teams will face off in a variety of categories for top honors scored by popular vote.

Walk the Talk was first held in November 2006, when Steve McCormick, Anheuser-Busch’s senior executive, challenged local business leaders to deliver their campaign contributions on foot to United Way—and, to show his personal commitment to his community, ran 12 miles from Baldwinsville with check in-hand. Walk the Talk will again be held this fall, and United Way hopes to build the event into an annual tradition.

The annual Achievement Celebration marks the end of United Way’s Community Campaign. At this event, United Way announces its fundraising total and celebrates the community’s achievements in philanthropy, honoring local organizations and individuals for their exceptional accomplishments.
